As a reputable and long-standing homeware and decor shop, our priority is the delivery of the highest level of customer service possible. This aim extends to our terms and conditions.



As colour is an integral part of home decor and homeware, Interglass uses calibrated monitors when preparing products for online presentation. Our pictures are carefully colour balanced for maximum colour accuracy. However, the colour appearance of items shown on our site may differ slightly from monitor to monitor due to the colour differences that can occur between different kinds of display devices. Such differences are outside of our control, and we do not normally treat such cases as service errors. Nonetheless, we still offer a 7-day no-questions asked return guarantee on all products as per Clause 5 below. Please refer to the detailed description provided with each product to confirm true appearance.

We are constantly at work keeping our website updated. However, due to many of our products being imported, it may happen that certain items have become unavailable at short notice. If you have happened to pay for an item that was shown as being available and which has become unavailable in the meantime, we will immediately inform you via email and reimburse you on the full or partial value of your order, as the case may be.

Due to the fluctuation of international exchanges rates, we reserve the right for prices to be updated on the website from time to time, without prior notice.  However, we will honour all prices as displayed on the website at the time of your purchasing.



We operate from a secure server which ensures that all personal details entrusted to us by our customers are treated absolutely confidentially. Personal information related to payment is also treated with utmost security through Payfast's secure payment portal.

Furthermore, we do not disclose personal information to any third party for any purpose whatsoever, except delivery, in which case only name, telephone number, and address are shared with the delivery company.



We accept payments by Visa, Mastercard, debit card, and EFT through Payfast's secure payment portal.

Should you prefer to pay for the contents of your shopping basket by EFT through your own internet banking facilities, simply transfer the contents of your shopping basket to your wishlist (you will have to register with Interglass Online during this process). Once this is done, select the option of emailing your wishlist. Email your list to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., together with your delivery address. We will promptly email you a quotation for the items as well as our banking details. Once you have completed the EFT transaction, please send us a proof of payment by email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or fax  0865650117. Once proof of payment has been received by us, we will email you an invoice together with information about the status of your order and how long the complete delivery process will take.

The purchase orders with unprocessed payments will be automatically cancelled within 7 business days.



Due to the differing nature of our products, products carry different warranties, as follows.

All our clocks carry a one-year replacement warrantee against any mechanism fault, over and above the standard 30-day return policy. Furthermore, any clock part that suffers damage, mishandling, or the effects of time and needs to be repaired, can be serviced by us. We are unique in offering extensive after-sales technical support on all of our quality time pieces.

Our lighting products carry no warranty beyond the standard 30-day return policy as set out in point 5. below, due to their usually being installed by independent technicians in circumstances beyond our control. Simply check to ensure your lighting product is in working order before the 30-day return period expires, during which time you can still return the product for a full refund or exchange.

All of our glassware, crystal and crockery items carry the quality assurance and are thoroughly checked for quality before shipment. Being fragile items, however, we offer no warranty on these products beyond the standard 30-day return policy. Simply check to ensure your glass, crystal or crockery items are in working order before the 30-day return period expires.



We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all our products. If you are not 100% satisfied with your order, please send us an email query quoting your order number, the name of the item, and any reason for return. Return the goods to our premises in the original packaging and in an unused condition within 7 days of receiving your purchase. We will process your choice of a refund to the full value of the purchase price, no questions asked. As by the Chapter 2, Section 20 of Consumer Protection Act the goods must be returned on the risk and expense of the customer. However, if the return is due to our shortcoming, we will cover both original and return transport costs. Items returned after 7 days will qualify for exchange only, and any order returned after 14 days will be returned to you. Rejection of delivery for reasons other than damage, fault or shipping error may result in a 20% service fee.



In the interest of providing the best service possible, we ensure all of our products are appropriately packaged and labeled to prevent damage during transport. We also work in conjunction with the most reliable transport services available in South Africa. However, circumstances outside of our control may result in the delivery of a damaged item. In such a case, we either replace the item at no further cost to you, or process a full refund for the item, including delivery costs.

After your order has been delivered and signed for, please check all items. Damaged products need to be reported to us by email or phone within 12 hours of being received. Please quote your order number and the reference number of the damaged product to enable us to process your request as speedily as possible.

Due to the fragile nature of some of our products, we do not accept breakages reported later than 12 hours after delivery.



To cancel your registration and stop receiving regular information from us, please send us a query with your username, password, and the word 'unsubscribe' in the message box. We may email you one final time to confirm your cancellation. Alternatively, click on the unsubscribe link in any informational email that we send to your address.



As part of our commitment to delivering outstanding service, we have made delivery easy, secure and free of charge to any address in South Africa, regardless of the size of your basket. The amount quoted in your shopping basket is the final amount, with no additional charges for transport.

Interglass will notify you of the exact breakdown of shipping time for your order with an email following payment. Send us a query if you would like to get an exact idea of total delivery time for any specific list of items prior to payment.

Although we are committed to delivering the best possible transport service, a delay may be caused from time to time by factors outside of our control. By using our website and placing an order with us, you accept the possibility of such an occurrence without holding us liable.
